Details of other services:
The CARE Centre is a nonprofit, charitable organization that supports the integration of Internationally Educated Nurses (IENs) into the nursing profession in Ontario. We offer services in the GTA and in the London, Hamilton, Niagara and Kitchener/Waterloo regions. Internationally Educated Nurses who become CARE members receive one on one support with a case manager who helps them develop a CARE plan for success and works with them through the exhaustive registration process. Members have access to language, nursing and exam preparation courses that have been designed specifically for IENs. As well as comprehensive resource libraries, community functions and workshops, Nursing Readiness Assessments and Mock Examinations, CARE also offers Members the opportunity to participate in a Professional Practice Placement. Graduates leave CARE as RNs or RPNs with the ability to practice safely and confidently in their profession. Our goal is to increase the overall success of Internationally Educated Nurses in Ontario.
