Trent University's Positive Space Program seeks to identify and encourage the development of positive spaces throughout Trent University. This includes increasing the visibility of LGBTQ people, issues, and communities; providing support and resources concerning LGBTQ issues; and to strengthen the LGBTQ and ally communities on our campuses and in the surrounding communities. The program offers Positive Space training at multiple locations in the Peterborough and Durham regions.
NewYouth.ca is an online community for newcomer youth in Ontario. It offers information (both province-wide and city-specific) on immigration, school, work, law, health, and daily life, as well as videos and a discussion forum.
The University of Toronto's Positive Space Campaign is intended to help create a campus that is free of discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identities. The campaign includes the Mississauga, Scarborough, and St. George campuses as well.
