Are you frustrated with the lack of social services, and community space?Has it been difficult to connect with services you need? Are you a service provider who wants to better serve your clients? Space Between is a community-based organization of social service providers and community-members committed to the development of services for LGBTQ+ people in Hamilton. The LGBTQ+ Symposium of Hamilton, held in commemoration of Pride Week, is your opportunity to:- BUILD COMMUNITY: Join community-based discussions on issues which affect you. Bring your family to the Queer Family Space, hosted by Social Inc., Mohawk College
- LEARN MORE: Connect with social service agencies, LGBTQ-positive small businesses, and support local artists in our vendors area
- GET INVOLVED: Activists in Hamilton will share their knowledge of pressing issues affecting our communities
Saturday's workshops, panels and discussions will be followed by:
QPOC Cabaret: Celebrating Queer People of Colour at 8pm. An evening in celebration of the talents of Black, Indigenous, People of Colour in the community.
