This document is OCASI-PSI's online submission of its recommendations to Federal LGBTQ2 Action Plan. It was submitted on May 31st, 2021 as part of a larger community consultations undertaken by the Government of Canada. The document highlights 5 issues and priority areas identified by OCASI-PSI that includes: LGBTQIA+ inclusive settlement services; removing barriers to access to identity documents, health care, and other settlement supports; extended access to mental health support; National LGBTQIA+ Francophone Strategy; and dedicated funding for anti-racism related initiatives. 

Our brief response to the Federal 2SLGBTQI+ Action Plan launched on August 28th, 2022

This document is intended to assist practitioners in providing hormone therapy and primary health care for trans clients. It summarizes current clinical practice at Sherbourne Health Centre, and provides guidance with regard to common dosages of hormones, monitoring strategies as well as references and resources for further learning and support. 

Prepared by RHO & The 519 Community Centre, this guide and its accompanying handy tip sheet will help you to cover stories about trans and gender-diverse people respectfully and accurately.

These series of slides provide useful tips, strategies, and information on trans inclusion in practice including, avoiding harmful phrasing and terminology, building organizational capacity, adopting gender neutral language, and tools for social media and communications. 

BindersOUT is a grassroots program formed in 2016 to give transmasculine people and other trans folx access to affordable (and safe!) chest binding. They are currently based in Toronto, Ontario.

They prioritize making binders accessible at local drop-ins and support groups, including those geared towards youth & teens, trans folx of colour, and trans folx struggling with homelessness or finances.
